David Lynch’s 1984 Dune (based on the novel by Frank Herbert) feels a million miles away in this new trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s take on the classic sci-fi story.
Starring Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård and Javier Bardem to name but a few heavy-hitters, the Dune trailer is packed with gripping visuals and a foreboding atmosphere - but will it excite film fans who will unlikely remember the 80s take (and those that do remember are rarely raving fans - the film is rocking a tepid 6.5 average score on IMDb).
Dune 2020 is currently in post-production and looks likely set for a December release.
