Jacob Ethan Tanner
Starring:
Robin Haley, Emily Farley, Kit Sweet, Nicholas Heaton.

The short film has a black and white theme to it. It also has a red undertone denoting the gangster genre, with a lot of gruesome bloodshed happening throughout the film.

The narrative of the cinematic piece revolves around the criminal named Durand (Robin Haley). He is ready to do anything to get the mysterious package. The film starts with an intense conversation between Durand and Roland regarding the same. Durand kills Roland as the latter fails to fulfill what Durand wants from him. This is followed by woman on a call with Durand. She agrees to give him the package as she doesn't want to lose her life. The gangster finally gets the mysterious package, but the woman had to pay its price by being stabbed. The Director (Jacob Ethan Tanner) has kept the thrill in the plot intact and given us an open-ended closure. The viewers are so involved with Durand that they keep thinking about "What will Durand do next?"

Robin Haley plays the role of Durand. The actor maintains a demeanor for the character; it comes in handy to make it more effective. As a result, Director manages to pull off the gangster genre more reasonably. Beth (Emily Farley) performs an emotional sequence so well. The viewers can also experience the emotion the character deals with in the scene. Voice modulation is an element used brilliantly by the actress to highlight the vibe of the sequence.
