When Lionsgate released the latest official trailer for Power Ballad, it instantly struck a chord with us. Bringing together the unmatched, self-deprecating charm of Paul Rudd and the polished pop sensibility of Nick Jonas, the film positions itself as a sharp, hilarious, and surprisingly poignant exploration of artistic ownership, jealousy, and the transcendent power of a truly great melody.

The tone struck by director John Carney looks spectacularly balanced.
