audience questions and feedback from our panel of experts who will be giving out the

Critics’ Choice Award to the short film that wows them most.

● Audience participation with LIVE voting for their favourite film!

● With our presenter Mike Sheer and curator Erifili Missiou, expect a relaxed, fun, and

inclusive atmosphere and a night full of cinematic gems.

Laima, Magdi and Nour their (nearly) ten-year-old daughter anxiously await a doctor’s

appointment that is destined to change their lives forever.


2. Crashing Waves - Emma Gilbertson (2018) 3’39

In the middle of a towering estate, Liam spots Jamie. The two are reminded of a previous time where they shared an intimate moment. Jamie resists and the two engage in a combative dance which explores their intimacy and vulnerability.
