Nathanial Eker

Nathanial Eker is a film critic, filmmaker, and journalist based in Liverpool while working to gain his BA in Film and Creative Writing. His passion for film isn't restricted to one genre, though he has a soft spot for the black and white chillers of early Hollywood, as well as the entire filmography of Hitchcock. His analytical interest lies in the study of music in film, as well as the representation of minorities; he recently published a paper on the portrayal of disabled people in mainstream blockbusters. His personal favourite film is Ed Wood (1994, Tim Burton), though his geekier side hides a love for all things Marvel!
